XHOSA TRADITIONAL WEDDING FOR THE BEST BRIDE

The traditional Xhosa wedding or “ukwenda” may be a massive event for the total area people. It last for a minimum of 2 days. the marriage ceremony is command within the groom’s home. Some meat is sacrificed to the ancestors.
The wedding has several rituals. one in all the foremost vital ones is named “utsiki”. The groom’s family prepares some goat meat and bitter milk. The bride (“umakoti”) should eat them.
